Men's Basketball To Host Nov. 1 Scrimmage
Red-White Battle To Tip At 5 p.m.
DALLAS (SMU) - Following a successful tour of Vancouver, British Columbia, the SMU Men's Basketball team continues its preseason preparations when the Mustangs host their annual Red-White Scrimmage on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. in Moody Coliseum.
Following their 4-0 Canadian tour, the Ponies will look to continue their sharp run in the open-to-the-public intrasquad contest. Picked to finish as high as second in the WAC by some publications in 2003-04, SMU will be led by sophomore sensation Bryan Hopkins, junior forward Patrick Simpson and senior swingman Kris Lowe.
The contest will follow the SMU-Fresno State football game scheduled for 2 p.m. at Ford Stadium. More hoops exhibition play is set for Nov. 8 and Nov. 16 as the Ponies will host InterHoops from Lithuania and EA Sports at Moody Coliseum.
