Where did you get that info from?

He is listed at 6'6" on the SMU website. I think he is 6'7" with shoes according to Nike Basketball Academy. His dad is 6'8" so he can definitely grow more.

I did find this: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Shake-Milton-71517/

Nike Basketball Academy height results

Interesting story about Shake's Dad and how Shake got his name: http://m.newsok.com/article/3954912

Shake Milton was measured at 6'7 and 205, he's the starting PG for SMU.

Here's hoping he develops into an all-star point guard in the NBA. Going forward now that we no longer have Larry Brown as a strong selling point we will need to churn out a few NBAers that kids can look up to and want to follow in their path to stardom. Hopefully Shake can be the first of many.

@lukewinn
Suns' Devin Booker is best shooter in the building at Nike Skills Academy, but SMU's Shake Milton is best of the college guys. Impressive.

Guess we'll need to really appreciate him this year cause sounds like he is lottery if not top 3 next.

turn him loose, Jank. Would have shattered the Frosh record for threes if Jank had been HC the entire season last year

I honestly believe Shake has a legit chance to be the leading scorer in the AAC next season
He and Semi should be a very tough 1-2 scoring punch.

I'm excited about our team. Shake is legit, semi is going to explode. Ben Moore and sterling will be, sterling. As long as we have 3 deep on the bench....

Run and shoot! And rebound.

My only concern is that we don't really have a strong rim protector, even our tallest guy is probably best out in space (which has its advantages, too, of course).

We should be able to run most teams out of the gym. We may have difficulty with teams with deep, tall front lines (and also have good guard play), see UConn. However, there are very few of those so . . .

At the end of a close game, you need stops. The perimeter defense of Sterling and Gu is going to be helpful. But you have to get big in the half-court when the game slows down at the end. That is where MK and Tolbert were a little bit of a liability last year. Previously, Cunningham or Moreria would protect us inside. I am sure we will press and trap more to try to turn the ball over in the full court but I think we will lose more often in close games this upcoming year.

then again, we lost some games because our opponents were raining threes even when our guys had a hand in their faces. Looking forward to a fun and entertaining bball season but I also hope our football hopes aren't dashed too early
