ESPN has a "toughest venue in The American poll" going on. We are behind even though ESPN actually reported Moody is the toughest venue!!!!

Not sure why SMU isn't pushing this more we had awesome social media last year not sure what happened.

ESPN ranking:

1. SMU Mustangs: Moody Coliseum, opened in 1956
Before Larry Brown arrived in town, SMU averaged 2,013 fans per game. Last season the Mustangs lost one game at Moody. The Hall of Famer can be accused of lots of things, but the man knows how to turn around a program. In its 7,000-seat charming old barn, SMU is now a force in college basketball, with a rowdy home crowd to match its efforts. The big question: Can Tim Jankovich, named head coach after Brown resigned abruptly last month, keep it going?

Fun fact: Dallas' first ABA franchise, the Chaparrals, played some games at Moody. Owners couldn't agree on a team name so they went with the place where they were meeting, the Chaparral Club. But after just sevens seasons and declining ticket sales, the franchise relocated to another Texas town. The Chaparrals became the San Antonio Spurs.

Pretty cool.that in a conference with traditional basketball powers UConn, Cincy, Memphis and Temple we are voted the toughest place to play. Thank you, LB.

Team leading the vote is UCONN. What a joke. We put them out of the tourny on our road to an away confernce tournament title there.

maybe so, but UConn, Memphis & Cincy all have larger attendance figures so you can logically expect them to top SMU in these kinds of polls

Well ya but still. We have won more games there in 3 years than we have lost in Moody

Keep voting!!!!!!

Current results:

1 - Connecticut (994 votes)
2 - Cincinnati (408)
3 - SMU (293)
4 - Memphis (242)
5 - Temple (154)

Kind of weak vote totals for the conference Arizona is leading the Pac-12 voting with 1731 votes although their voting started a day earlier.

Those 3 schools also know how to win in the tournament
