Pretty knowledgeable report but Terry is right, no mention of Wilson. I saw him on the Boulevard a few weeks ago with his mate Froling, so he's around.

They might have edited it because Wilson is mentioned in the 2nd to last paragraph.

He isn't left off, the author just listed who he thought were "key" reserves.

I think Wilson will get more minutes than McDowell this year. We will need both to contribute though.

Are you basing your opinion on anything concrete?
Why?
I think they'll both get ample spin as Jank looks at any and all point possibilities.

Nothing concrete. Just notes I have read from practices and one guy I know who usually has solid info. He said Tom will get first crack as backup PG and Wilson has been shooting real well in practice. McDowell still needs some work on his consistency there. They will both play, but it sounds like Wilson (from what I have heard) is a little ahead.
As you said they will both get looks and PT.

In a season of many positive surprises, Jarrey will be the biggest. He's ready. If you don't know, now you know.

Yes, based on what I've seen, Tom has the backup job at this point.

As for the starters, Shake, Sterling, B Moore and Semi are set but that fifth spot will likely be fluid early on depending on the opponent and how the guys are playing. It could be any of Gu, Jarrey or Fro. My gut feeling is Jarrey will eventually settle into the fifth starter because he can flat ball. He's fully recovered from the knee injury, he's confident and he does everything well on both ends of the court.

The "year and a half" comment is incorrect, isn't it? I thought he had two years by way of sitting out all of last year, right? That's assuming he wants to stay after this season obviously.
