Oh my. Wagner?
At least SMU responded well to adversity. Probably good-because Jank can get their attention in film room

Kinda embarrassing for UCONN to lose to Wagner. I mean think of the reaction on this board if we had lost our tune up game.

Wagner usually fields a decnt team....still!
Not the way you want to start a season when you are ranked..
I think they stuggle a bit until KO gets the rotation down. Gilbert and Larrier appear to be solid pickups.
You know what kills me about UCONN fans? They see themselves as above the lowly AAC yet their teams consistently disappoint them. They'd be no better off in a better conference than SMU, CINCY or even Temple.

Wagner made the second round of the NIT last season, but still a terrible loss for Connecticut.

I guess SMU, Cincy and Temple are going have to do the heavy lifting for the American Conference once again.
Thanks for nothing UCONN, Tulsa (who lost to Jacksonville State yesterday), Memphis (who finds a way to suck every year), etc.

Tulsa was playing at home.
Jacksonville State is coming off an impressive 8-23 campaign with a 4-12 record in the Ohio Valley Conference.

As a UConn alum, I am one of those in meltdown after last night's loss. Just awful.

The boneyard is one of the few opposing fan boards I occasionally read because their basketball meltdowns are some of my favorite. Especially the first AAC year when we swept them

I wouldn't count UConn out yet. They along with uc will be the teams we battle most with.

I predict UConn will take this as motivation and end up taking many teams to the woodshed this season.
