Thomas More College

I know that this is a small story but Thomas More College up here in Northern KY got absolutely hammered by the ncaa yesterday for one violation for their womens bball team. They had to vacate an undefeated season, give up a national championship, pay a fine and they have two years probation. I really doubt that our friends at ul or nc will get anything near what happened to Thomas More for much worse.

When you name your school after a guy who was beheaded you can't expect things to improve overnight.

Tremendous understatement by you, Terry....more like 1,000x worse and yet not as severe a penalty.

The NCAA is such as farce.

BTW, at the center of this controversy was Sydney Moss, daughter of Randy Moss.

A student athlete lived with a former coach. Apparently the assistant coach had a pre-existing relationship with the family. The head coach got failure to monitor and the program playing ineligible players.

The schools reviewing the case are all DIII schools, so they don't really know how the game is played. UNC & UL will get DI schools who know how to sweep their infractions under the carpet.
