After getting plenty of PT in the first two games, he did not even see the court. Did I miss something or did McDowell just step up and take his minutes?

I think it was all about matchups. McDowell is a better defender and they probably thought he could handle them better on that end and hit the glass. I think it will fluctuate depending on who we are playing. I personally was surprised Mc got 11mins and Wilson didn't get any. I thought McDowell did a good job, he obviously needs work, but hit two shots, hustles and plays D. Good for him.

McDowell is a smart player that makes very few mistakes.

I don't know if it was a slip, but during the Pitt game one of the announcers said SMU only had 8 scholarship players. Made me wonder what was up, and the announcers didn't even question why he wasn't playing.

he did play late in the game. I think its probably because he is physically not very strong and they didn't want him to be exposed in a game against Michigan. We'll see in him in next game

Wilson is not ready this year. Everyone can just relax. Mcdowell is waaaaaay ahead of him in every part of the game.

This summer Froling and Wilson need to live in dallas and be near weights 12 hours a day.

Except shooting. Wilson is much ahead of McDowell as a shooter. McDowell seems to be a much better defender, rebounder, & hustle-man. 100% agree that Fro and Wilson need to hit the S&C program hard.

This is the complete opposite from what I was told by people in the know and what I observed in the couple of practices I saw.

Like someone said in another post post that McDowell may have come on strong here recently. Just sayin'.

I know. I was just responding to JasonB's post, that's all.
