Wow...and not the good kind

I just came from the game and I couldn't believe it. A complete 180 from where this program was at the UConn game when we opened Moody. This team plays like a team being coached by an assistant coach. Zero leadership or energy. The crowd was embarrassing both in terms of size and energy. There was zero game day programming outside of some stupid sponsor gimmicks.

SMU has found a way to ruin one of the best up and coming programs in college basketball.

Well done!

Sadly, you're right.

Regarding the crowd, I was also at the game and agree it was a pretty quiet crowd and not a huge one but it is a Sunday game, right before finals, against one of the worst teams in basketball. Not many schools have rocking crowds during these type of games. TCU, Stanford and Conference games will be the telling factors of if our fans show up rocking or not.

In all fairness, you're likely right, but c'mon. This has been an epic fall from grace.

That worst team in basketball was down by 2 at half. Embarrassing

Well, we lost the Armed Forces Bowl against Army thanks to our paltry first half.

Sick of the excuses.

So what if it is Sunday. So what if it is cold. So what if it is raining. So what if you have finals this week. So what if you haven't heard of Delaware State.

SMU made Moody an absolute destination, and it just isn't anymore. It isn't anything close to a destination, and that is just sad because it shouldn't be that way.

Lots of reasons why, but it is what it is.

See you Wednesday. Go Ponies!

No. we lost because we had fewer points when the game ended.

Ask Penn State if they lost last night.

The trending is certainly in the wrong direction. A TCU win and I think we have a chance for a major attitude readjustment. A loss and I'm concerned we might not regroup.

This thread is poop. What a sad sack of fans. We had a few thousand good folks at a Sunday game against Delaware state and blew them out. Get over yourselves. Most schools would kill for what we have.

No, I'm just shocked we've come to accept this unbelievable regression. "Most schools" equate to about 15. That's the number of D-1 schools that would be happy playing in front of 1500 fans in a library quiet arena, coached by someone who has no right being a head coach (at this level).

Jobs need to be lost over this. If you don't think so, make sure you grab the lights as you and the remaining 600 leave.
