An idea for when Shake takes his second half rest

Postby BleedSMUPride » Mon Dec 05, 2016 12:32 pm

So I feel like there is a common theme in all of our games in which, for some reason, Shake is always the first guard to take a rest in the second half, and typically fairly early in the half, which doesn't make sense to me as we just had a 20 minute break and he should have some of the best stamina on our team. Anyway, when he comes out, we always put in GU and thats when s**t hits the fan and teams go on big runs on us and all the sudden we are down double digits.

Just a thought, but why not try giving teams a completely different look vs us and put harry, semi, and ben Moore out together? I'm not saying do it for a long stretch but for a 3 minute period, just enough time to give Shake enough rest, let Jarrey, sterling and either Ben Moore or semi run up top? Jank has said ben could run the point a little, and I know it isn't the first option but its still better than putting GU out there who is shooting 25%.

I'd love to see Harry, Ben, and Semi on the floor at the same time, but it completely wrecks our rotation at the 4 & 5 and opens us up to more foul trouble that we can't afford. Doubt we'll see much of it.
