but he's only 4th on the team in FT Attempts. Someone needs to sit him down and teach him some arithmetic. We need to feed him the ball on drives to the basket especially late in the game-but does he want it like Nic Moore wanted it? Worth a couple of points a game and 2-3 wins if he accepts that role

He stepped his scoring off last game when he played more off the ball, and it sounds like we will see more of that moving forward with Jank giving Semi and Shake the freedom to do what they need to score.

Shake is clearly one of the guys you want to have the ball in his hands while protecting a lead down the stretch

Shake needs to drive more. He is an athletic missmatch against guards and he can finish at the rim. We were a pass into the post cut team with LB and our bigs. The his team needs to be a dribble drive down team.

hurts me to say it, but Shake is a big SOFTIE. Only thing he has going for us right now is a shot. Looks intimidated to drive the lane

I thought that drive at the end of the TCU game was pretty strong.
Could be that he was just trying to get other players involved, and now that he isn't the point, he will play more aggressively.

I just think Shake needs to get stronger. He is skinny mainly because he is still growing.

He looks a lot stronger than last year. I wonder if he's trying so hard to be a "true" point guard that he is hesitant to drive or shoot too often. Nic Moore's confidence could be construed as selfishness, but the way he won games and collected AAC Player of the Year awards, I wouldn't mind seeing Shake be a little more selfish. He's a real matchup problem for a lot of guards when he's aggressive.
