and loved every second of it. Nic Moore was FIRE that game - 25pts / 11 assists/ 1 TO, and exemplified everything we are missing this season. Whenever we were in dire need of a bucket, our players would frantically search for Nic and feed him. From there, he'd hit a big shot, drive the lane and draw a foul, or create something out of nothing.

Full game is up on youtube for anyone interested in reminiscing the good 'ole days. It's a damn shame we were banned from the postseason, cause that team coulda played with ANYBODY in the country.

As for the Zags, I hoped we would keep the series going but it is probably a good thing we don't play them this season. They look scary good. Maybe their best team yet. Mark Few just keeps getting it done.

I don't mean this as a shot against the OP, but in general, can we stop mentioning Nic's name on this board more than anyone else. This is college and he's gone, not walking through that door. Move on. You could always watch the Zags game from the year before where Nic gets positively destroyed. Actually, until he was a senior, he routinely was outplayed by the more profile guards on our schedule, specifically, OOC. None of the hindsight does anything. He was a great player, who now is being made into a deity, despite the fact he was as flawed as anyone else. You really think Nic makes us great this year w/o bigs and the inside/out?

classic under-dog story and a hell of a player...perhaps an assistant coach some day.... but I totally agree

94, did you ever think we need Frazier back b/c Whitt is the only kid on the team who rolls a legitass blunt, and he can't travel? 3 road losses, no Whitt, just saying

For all the love Nic gets, I've never forgiven him for missing those last 2 open shots that could have won that 1st round game against UCLA and could have made the Moreira goal tending call a non-issue (just kidding, of course)
