Random thought. I saw Rivals posted new 2018 Texas hoops rankings and Jank's son was #19

He is 6'3 and supposed to be a dead-eye 3-point shooter. He looks/sounds more like a mid-major proospect, but I would be curious if he wanted to play for his dad and pull a Bryce Alford or Doug McDermot and walk-on for a year or two to save us the scholarships and if he does well we could give him one for his last two years when we are off schollie sanctions.

Also, Kyler Edwards a big target of ours is #7.

As a relative of a school employee, doesn't that grant him a free ride by default?

Yeah... I think he is a freebie if he comes.

Come to think of it: what a creative way to beat the scholarship restrictions.

Pick the recruits with employable parents.

Or if we have any on the bench with single parent, hook them up with Profs. If anyone objects on either side remind them there is no such thing as a lesser person.

I've seen him play. He's a very solid player, but #19 is a too high for him @ this point.
I like his game, his upside, kind of reminds me of Matt McQuaid @ the same age.
McQuaid played @ Duncanville, originally committed to SMU before going to Mich. St.

Another kid I like locally that's under the radar right now that some on this board may know is Will Enzor from Highland Park. A lot of energy, a lot of fun to watch, explosive scorer.

From the junior class talent I've seen in the DFW area this year, I would put them in the top 30 locally, but not in the state just yet.

Haven't seen Enzor yet. If i'm gonna take a stretch I would take Jank's son, because might not need a schollie. Nice McQuaid comparison. I would hope he turns into him. The guard I know we really like is Kyler Edwards who has blown up lately has good offer lists and recently added USC and Nebraska offers to his Okie State, SMU, and Boise offers.

We have put in some good leg work so we are in a good spot with him. He is fun to watch fantastic athlete and has really become a solid 3 shooter. Has gone nuts so far this year at Arlington Bowie. https://twitter.com/k_edwards__/status/ ... 2114938880

I hate Bryce Alford but this would be great for the Ponies!!!
