I don't know who channeled the Cameron Crazies tonight in our small but decent student section. Early in the second half they began chanting 0-for-8 every time Jalen Adams got the ball. He missed again then they starting chanting 0-for-9 when he got the ball. It was impressive. We need more of that out of the students. BTW, Adams was about as frustrated as you will see a college player out there. He was yelling at teammates and shaking his head the entire second half.

...I kind of even liked the sheepish 1 for 10 -1 for 10

I thought the students were into the game and loved the 0-X cheer. Killed Adams!

Glad to see all the student sections fill in by mid way through the the 1st half. We had a 90% capacity crowd from 15 min 1st half till 5 min 2nd half.

6 PM start is a killer and a 20+ blow out tends to thin out the crowd and dampen the rowdyness.

But I'm not complaining. It was a great crowd and great game. We played hard and it was a great effort by our players and coaches.

One student was dressed as trump with a tupee comb over. Haha. Keep winning and they will show. Saturday is big. Playing for ranking?

I also liked the sarcastic cheer when he finally made a shot.

Houston is the game I want to win. How is a mustang like an elephant?

A true Mustang fan will never forget the 95 points the Cougers ran up on us in the return-from-death season of 1989.

Jank brought up creating that type of environment on Saturday in his post game radio comments a couple of times. Did it in a very positive way, but clearly wants to see a full and rowdy crowd at tip.

This team deserves full student sections. Jank finally called them out and I hope they show up in full force Saturday. We need them

Ill admit I am so pleased with Jank. 4-3 start had me nervous but he saw the issues and addressed them. Starting to wonder if we do have the guy to keep this going

The students haven't been here for a month. I thought it was a good showing considering classes STILL haven't started yet. Plenty of the frat bros this board has been clamoring for.

The reason the board clamors for "frat bros" is that they are the students that are the loudest, and the most fun. The sarcastic chants and the mocking and hollering into the coaches ear all comes from the "frat bros". So the more the better. Surely the AD sees this - and can figure out a way to end the silly point system and get the rowdy fans in the best spots vs a pointless test of who can stomach going to the most useless sporting events in return for seating. That will never result in the loudest most entertaining student section.

The mob seems to have had a lot of "social engineering" the last couple of years. Guessing both Hart and Turner have liked not having complaints from opposing coaches like in year one.
