Team could use it. We are so much better than Tulane that we can have a big let down and still win, against Houston not so much.

They will at least have a nice bye game against Tulane. Hopefully up by 20 in the first half and let some of the others plays and the starters rest. Houston and UCONN on the road can't be overlooked. Also we got a target on our back now and someone wants to be that upset.

Getting Dashawn back will be nice. Our starters need some rest.

Hope Dashawn is back for Tulane so he can get some meaningful PT for once. I'd hope for 20 minutes, but I doubt Jank will do that. Getting Wilfong 10 minutes and The Greek 5-8 minutes would be great for the teams legs.

Won't happen, but I would just think that'd be ideal.

It doesn't take much for an upset. Poor play by SMU and TU playing out of their skulls can be a real combination for trouble. Let downs are so easy over a long season especially after a big win. I remember back in the fall SMU had a big win and then had to really struggle to beat Tulane.

I think this group is mature enough to avoid that and Jank is down to earth enough to emphasize the ever so true one game at a time mentality. I expect a win and hope its big enough to let the second teasers get significant playing time.

Someone has mentioned tired legs and I 've worried about that for three games now. Jank's abilitiy and performance have been mentioned and I believe if anyone can figure out what to do it is he. I also hope that Dashawn is available and that Wilfong and Kontopolouls can play a lot against Tulane as mentioned above.

Go Mustangs!

We had best go out against Tulane with the same intensity as we did Cincy or our coach to the NCAAs could start turning into a pumpkin.

I think this team is too smart and too well coached to slip at home against a clearly lousy team.
That being said, the two road games will be extremely difficult.

Houston's lineup is made to exploit our defensive game with the three ball shooters they have. It will be really tough down there.

UCONN seems to be gelling now and will be playing for pride and a high seed at the AAC tourney. We are the better team but they will have home court and the memories of SMU knocking them off the top rung.
Payback?

Ain't no easy road.

I expect us to beat Tulane but would not be surprised to them coming out flat with big win hangover. If that happens all this extra playing time for the bench will go away.

Jank should ban the word "Houston" from the locker room until after the Tulane game. Force the team to understand the importance of there not being a let-down and not letting the team overlook Tulane
