For shoots and giggles, I went back and read Mac Engel's December 5, 201 6 story in the Fort Worthless Telegram. Among my favorite comments from him:

1. Frogs basketball is about to be relevant and bypass SMU to make this rivalry of the revenue sports a one-sided joke. (what a cocky sum-beetch!)

2. Neither Jankovich nor Dixon will ever be confused for Larry Brown, but the balance in basketball between the two schools will shift because Brown is gone and TCU with Dixon simply has more to sell.

3. But the arrival of Dixon combined with the departure of Larry Brown is the reason this shift will happen.

To be fair, he owned up to this blunder recently.

To be fair, Mac isn't really a TCU homer either. He's just a massive [deleted] who writes clickbait to tick people off, which is basically about 3/4ths of all sports journalists today
