Let's not forget Wilfong. Jank even mentioned him in the pregame coaches show before the UCONN game. Said the work and hustle that Wilfong displays in practice has made everyone else better players and has helped prepare them for each game. Said his contribution to this team is mostly "behind the scenes" but very important, nonetheless.

Hopefully SMU can be in a position to give him some major minutes against Memphis, plus that is his hometown, so even sweeter.

I had been wondering if wilfong might start against Memphis.

So it is a thread for both games but according to your first post no one should post anything about the Memphis game until after the Tulsa game? Or are there specific things about the Memphis game you would be ok with as long as they are not about the starting lineup?

Oh come on give me a break it just seems silly to be discussing starting a walkon two games from now when there is a conference and two tournaments still to win, but if that's what people really want to talk about then hey live and let live!

Personally, I think it would be silly to start him Saturday if the conference is still on the line, but I imagine I am in the minority. I do hope he gets some minutes though of course.

Dan - i bet you are definitely not in the minority. If the conference is on the line do whatever you would do normally. Starting stunts are not worth it. He would prefer a conference championship to starting i would guess.
