We get a return game for USC. Anyone else we know about? Several other schools have been announcing home and home deals in the last few days.

Do we get to payback Boise?

Boise, and they won't move the needle for most. I'm told it is next to impossible to get a high profile P5 to agree to a home-and-home with us at this point.

If the big names won't come (doubt that Gonzaga will come back), would love to see more of those 70-100 RPI types come to Dallas: Ole Miss, Richmond, New Mexico.

Would love to see a H and H with a team like Texas Tech.

BTW - Rice is 20-9 in CUSA and not the RPI killer that you would think like some of the teams that we play. Why not a H and H there - one more Houston game for SMU fans in H-Town.

How about our potential conference buddies Dayton, VCU, Wichita State?

SO far all we have is home games against: USC, Boise
Away: TCU
Neutral: Battle 4 Atlantis Big names( Arizona & Villinova), also has (Purdue (likely B1G champion), UNI, Tennessee, NC State and WKU) Should get at least one big time matchup.

Likely wont have any other notable OOC home games outside of USC and Boise sadly. Agree with Ponytime would love a H-H with Tech or A&M.

Most top teams build their schedule through tournament wins.

If the conference was smart, they would make Dayton, VCU, and Wichita St. take home and homes with the top AAC teams in order to see how we mesh before we allow them into our conference.

It sucks that our conference doesn't have a challenge with another conference: Big 12/SEC, ACC–Big Ten, Big Ten and BIG EAST. Maybe we can do something with the Pac 12.

I think Wichita St, the Big Eaat schools or the top A10 teams are probably our best bet for a home-and-home. As someone mentioned above, I'd like to schedule Rice instead of Delware St or E Michigan.

Conferences only do those agreements with conferences they feel are comparable to them. The Pac-12 doesn't view the American (or closer ones such as MWC or WCC) as comparable.

The top half of the AAC against the top half of the PAC 12 would be very interesting:

SMU vs. Arizona
Cincy vs. UCLA
UH vs. Utah
UConn vs. USC
Temple/UCF vs. Colorado

One more thing, since the opening of renovated Moody, I don't think we have hosted an OOC ranked team. Arkansas might have been #25 in 2014, or maybe just receiving votes. And I'm pretty sure the Zags were unranked when they visited last season. Can you imagine the hype and environment at Moody if a highly ranked Kansas, Arizona, Kentucky or my gawd Duke came to Moody?
