We really need to use McDowell and/or Wilfong against Temple/ECU. We need to save our starters legs as much as possible for reaching the finals, but also for a potential early Thursday NCAA tourney game on only 3 days rest.
Really hope McDowell and/or Wilfong along with Gu get some extended minutes so our starters only have to play 28-30ish in that first game. Don't want them going 35+ in game one of 3 straight.

Excellent. Same here. Really excited. Compromised with the fiancé for 3 days in Hartford then 2 in NYC.

Can we get this tournament moved to Moody? I'd even take a neutral site. Why does UConn get home court every year? What's up with that?

I would be good with American Airlines Center if people really just hate playing at Moody

Because our fans will only go to SMU games not the others
Plus we don't want to spend the money to host it

I would expect Memphis or even UCF to host this event before SMU

Like 94 said, the school plus the local tourism folks don't want to put up the $$ to host. The people in Orlando and Hartford do. I think the best we can hope is that it makes its way to Memphis again.

Cinci has said they won't host it because of the cost with little hope of making it up in ticket sales.

Near halftime in the final two conference games...
Tulane beating Tulsa and Houston has been losing to ECU most of the game (but tied now).
If Tulsa and Houston both lose...
- UCF would take #3
- Houston would take #4
- Memphis would take #5
- Connecticut would take #6
- Tulsa would take #7
