Andrea Cossey

I know they've had a tough schedule this year -- ranked opponents, and now they're in the middle of a 7-game roadie -- but she came into the year as the team's captain, best 3-point shooter in school history, best scorer, etc. This year, she's averaging 8.9 points per game. She's hit 19-of-63 shots this year (30.2 percent). Today, she never made it to the foul line, and she only took four shots, making one (a 3-pointer) for 3 points.
What gives? Is she hurt? I made it to a few games last year, but haven't seen them yet this year (planning to go to the Fresno State game in January). I have to assume she's injured -- she's too good to stay in a slump. Either that or the opponents are playing a box-and-1 zone defense to stop her .... with the 4-player box surrounding her.
