Gtown SMU

Watching the end of Oregon UNC reminded me of this game. Ewing got the offensive rebound under a minute left and put Gtown ahead.
We had an 8 point lead at the half.

I hated those games before the shot clock but the low score probably helped SMU in that one

Yes, Thought the same thing.
Larry Davis fell asleep and didn't box out. Not sure which is worse 1 missed block out to give up a tip in or 2 missed block outs run out the time - tho the outcome is still the same.
I never understood why Bliss didn't have Butch Moore take that final shot.
Was play the beginning of Peruna's Law and the SMU basketball curse?

I think Peruna's Law was in effect for the Holiday Bowl and it was before that game.

I remember watching that game from Grandma's house in South Texas. I was pissed. Thankfully, she made homemade tortillas and had some tamales left over from Christmas.
