There wasn't a thread for him so I thought we could start one if anyone has an information to add.

Everything I have read on different websites is that this will likely be an ISU vs. SMU battle. KU jumped in yesterday so might jump into the race as well. Memphis has been mentioned, but likely not gonna happen and apparently UNC is more focused on Knox and since they have two other big man commits is kinda lukewarm on going hard after Brooks right now, but I am sure they will still make a push and set up an in-home.

I think Juiston whose the #1 JuCO player in the nation could have a big impact on the Brooks recruitment if he ends up at KU or ISU. We are recruiting against the big boys, which I love seeing. Hopefully, Jank and crew can get Brooks on a visit and close him with how good we have been lately and the likelihood he would start as a freshman and become of focus in our frontcourt rather than just being another guy at ISU or KU.

Brooks is going to be extremely tough to close.

Agreed, if he really wants a blue blood and to just be another piece and wait his turn we have no chance. If he wants immediate PT, on a real good team where he could be one of the key focuses then SMU & ISU should duke it out for him.

Clearly UNC is getting the death penalty since the Maryland pres said so, therefore he doesn't want to go there. Brooks, come on down to Dallas!

Hah! I had that same dream. But in mine Chargois and Ray were both 10 and 6 guys off the bench in their sophomore year, Douglas was first team ALL AAC, Shake was an NBA first rounder and Jarrey was team captain. I woke up in a cold sweat before Whitt, McMurray and Landrum were covered.

When this thing got started under LB the overriding theme was bring in talent then reload. It's all possible because Nick Russell, Shawn Williams, Cannen Cunningham, Ryan Manuel, Nic Moore, Markus Kennedy and others laid the foundation and we are now upgrading the overall talent on the roster year after year. The talent about to join the team next season is mind blowing, especially if we add Brooks and/or Mike. It's amazing how this this program has progressed.
