Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaThey are about to get paid. I don't see Cronin leaving unless Cinci doesn't give him more assurances. Marshall will have a top 10 team, so he can leverage this run into a better job if one opens. If Marshall didn't go after Indiana, I doubt he will go after OSU.
Mike Brown could be a good fit. Last edited by deucetz on Mon Jun 05, 2017 4:39 pm, edited 1 time in total.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaCinn isnt heaven - but why would you leave UC to go to god forsaken OSU? that would have to be 1M more in dough and even then youd have to think about it.
This isn't football - P5 doesn't do anything special for you but get you a payday.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as repla
Yeah, OSU is a better job on paper, but with how established Cronin is a CIncy doubt he would leave for OSU, unless it is a big payday. Then again he ALMOST ended up at UNLV last year so... never know.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as repla
Cronin is also an alum. I'm not sure how close he was to UNLV but I do know it's leverage to get a bigger salary. See Chad Morris.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaIf I'm Mick I say thanks, but no thanks.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaSome are saying Buzz
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaCronin taint going anywhere. Now that UC is putting all of the money into 5/3 arena, he is going to have things set for life. Plus his daughter lives here and he is a very good doting dad.
Re: Matta out at OSU. Marshall and Cronin mentioned as replaButler's Chris Holtmann to be the next Ohio St coach. Great choice IMO.
