Tonight was the game we had to get. It gets harder at Nevada because they have a guy in Kirk Snyder that we just cant match up with. Nevada is beatable, but dont expect it.

How did Isham play 26 minutes and have only one attempt from the field and zero points? I am stunned that we played them as close as we did with no output from Isham, Castro with a sub-par game, and no Brian Miller.

Kirk Snyder scares me but with the way we defend the three, Okeson scares me more. That guy is money.
As for Isham, seems like he hasn't been doing much of anything for a few games now, at least since the Purdue tournament. I know he hit a huge three against Tulsa late in the game but it doesn't seem like he's looking to score at all. When he plays well, I think the whole team plays well. When he's an enigma out there, we struggle. I'm not sure if there are any facts to back that up but it's certainly a story I'm going to continue to track.

When Isham's able to slash to the rim early for layups or dunks, it does wonders for his confidence in all aspects of the game. They should run clear-out plays for him at the beginning just to get him jump-started.

A one point loss in a low scoring game on the road is heartbreaking and encouraging. The ponies do play well on the road at times, but the lack of buckets is a problem. Thansk to the people who gave a runnign commnetary on the game because there was no out of town pick up on the internet or the media.
