On paper I think SMU SHOULD beat the Bows but nothing is definite and who knows with this team. UH has scored in the 90's against some lesser opponents. They have not played many road games thus far....They did beat Nevada on the island last week - (which is not real surprising).
(Sr) Kuebler - avg 19pts
They made 9 of 18 from 3 point against SJSU - 59% on FG, 22 assists and 21 rebounds....If they do this again, look out...

Agreed We SHOULD beat them. We shouldve beaten Fresno and Nevada but once again we didnt live up to play a whole game the way we can play. Should be a good game. Go Stangs.

We should beat UH if only to show that the team has some character. A very tough FSU lose and an underwhelming performance against Nev. This teams needs to win against UH to show that the team can come back and win when expected to win. And can overcome as tough road trip performance. :showoff:

let's face it...this is a must SWEEP weekend if SMU is going to contend for the WAC title, especially when you consider 3 of the next 4 games will be on the road at Rice, UTEP & Boise. With 4 home and 5 road games in the 1st half, it will take a 5-4 finish in the 1st half if we are going to be among the contenders.

If they don't sweep like they should, it could get really ugly looking at this schedule - none of those games are going to be easy at all with the road and then Nevada/Fresno back to back.

I'm sorry but I don't understand why Mustang35 says we should have beaten Nevada. Almost everyone picked them to win the WAC and they have the best player in Snyder. The prognosticators saw our great talent and called for anywhere from a 3rd to a 6th place finish. We may love the players more if they sign with SMU but it doesn't really make them better.
