@JonRothstein
Rob Gray drops 25 as Houston beats Baylor 81-78 in an exhibition. Is this the year that Kelvin Sampson gets the Cougars to the NCAA's?

The AAC is getting better for sure. Can’t sleep on UCF either as they have all those transfers eligible this year.

Let’s hope AAC teams get wins like this when they really count.

They will be in the mix. They actually have guys who can play in the frontcourt this year. Still think they are likely an NIT team. Shocked they beat BU, but who knows how BU handled the scrimmage or who played.

Baylor is also replacing guys like Johnathan Motley, so no telling how ready to go they are this year.

wow!

@JonRothstein
UT Arlington beats Oklahoma by 15 in a charity exhibition. One of college hoops' top mid-major teams. Remember the name Erick Neal.

So much for thinking Tulane might be improved....

@JonRothstein
UMass grad transfer Donte Clark had 23 in Texas Southern's scrimmage against Tulane. Mike Davis' squad won by 16. 15 and 6 for Trayvon Reed.
