10 Seed playing TAMU in DALLAS. Home game baby!
AAC with only 3 teams...2 of which would play each other in the second round (WSU vs SMU). Seems about right since the conference gets screwed every year

I don't think that's even allowed, is it? Not to mention that it seems highly unlikely they would place a 2 seed against a team from Texas in Dallas in round two. But as you say, maybe they make an exception if that 2 seed is an AAC team...

Main thing: AAC needs to dominate the OOC schedule! Then we will get respected.

Lunardi's update this week is interesting...

4 teams in with 1 in first 4 out sounds about right for how the season is playing out. Just need to make sure we are 1 of the 4

AAC feels like a 4 bid league with 2 nit teams that would hopefully do work in that tournament as we.

I like this bracket. Hopefully revenge game against Louisville since I don’t think we’ve ever beaten them. Plus in Dallas plus play the aggies in the 2nd round in dallas. That would be a big game. Funny putting USC and Boise state together. Small world. We got work to do and hopefully we get it done to get in and win a first round for once.

We are actually 2-8 all time vs Louisville but haven't beaten them since the Dave Bliss era. We played them in a national TV game during the 84-85 season (Louisville came in ranked #9 and I don't recall what we were ranked) and won 72-64 at Moody. I remember CBS having to come in and install temporary lighting because Moody was pretty dark in those days. Doc Hayes' Mustangs beat a highly ranked Louisville team in the mid 60's for our only other win against them.

Yikes. This week Lunardi has us as a 10 heading to Pittsburgh of all places to face Creighton.
http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketologyWinner would likely get West Virgina next.

NCAA conversion: 10 seed equates to a 142 seed. We’ll get back to back play in games against Carl’s Carburetor College and Duke.

I don't understand this weeks update. SMU beats Boise and drops down to last 4 in, Boise moves up to first four out, and Houston beats Providence but gets no consideration.

No respect for AAC. Sadly TCU game was as big as USC since the only thing the committee cares about is: did you win or lose against P5s.
