have had "dry spells" before, we have been blwon out an uncompetitive in the past, we have been here before, it will turn, it will change, it always does.....we run around here, I mean post around here like we are all part of some big Norte Dameish football legacy or Duke bball system...come on!!??!! Doc Hayes' first 8 years..95w's, 90l's..Bob Prewitt in the 60's, 8 total seasons coached, 3 winning...Sonny Allen, or should I say, "Mr. 6th. place"...Bliss, starts out 7-20, 6-21, btw, I wonder what Davey boy was doing behind the scenes??...Shumate was basically 7 seasons of "Reginald Muhammed and Bobby Holkan" ball, one championship, ONE!...Dement's 21-9, 99-00 season was NOT that long ago, sorry lord j was a myth...FOOTBALL..all-time record, what?? .500.........YES! I want to win,,YES!, I want to be "at least" competitive, but, who do you think we are? What REALLY is our bball and fball legacy? History? Average? mediorce?...everybody needs to take powder, lighten up, and realize who we are, where we are, and for crying out loud, what we are....

Under your scenario, we should shut down our athletics program. If no one should expect us to win at FB and BB, then no one should care if we lose. If no one cares if we lose, why go to the games at all.

..I'm with HL, we need to show some patience, restraint, calm, peace. We all want this thing to improve / turn, but over reacting won't help anything, just position us to repeat mistakes.
