Why is this newsworthy for our board?

1. He’s the #1 player in the sport at which we are competing at a high level.

2. Missouri got him the same way we are trying to get Maxey.

I’ve got two questions for you, if you feel like it is not an appropriate thread for our board why did you bother to click on it? The title is clear what the thread is about, and then why did you take the time to post in said thread?

He has been a pretty high profile story in college basketball for quite awhile due to the circumstances of his recruitment.
