Are they any good or are have they just been playing teams that are mediocre to be undefeated? Anyone have a scouting report?

We will find out soon enough. Expect TCU will have their best crowd of the season so far for this game so we will find out if our guys can handle a hostile environment because they haven't experienced that yet

Don't underestimate a much improved TCU squad that will have home court advantage...a HUGE factor in college basketball with different sight lines that affects shooters.

Yeah - they do t really care about basketball and their arena sucks cause it's round. Not sure how hostile it is. However it does cause issues for shooters.

I haven’t been to their new arena. On TV it looked like it got loud at times last year. I’d expect a good crowd, but nothing like WSU or Cincy.

They have a good basketball team though. Similar squad to what they had last year when they won the Nit. Big guy Broziansky (?) is skilled and long and they have a few good guards. Should be a really good game. I think in our favor is they haven’t been heavily tested yet.

If we play defense like we did against USC and Arizona we will win.

Hard to gauge TCU because they haven't played anyone. They barely managed to beat a terrible New Mexico team by 2. I am sure they are a very good team, but I don't know how good they are. After all, any good team will look great against UT Rio Grande, etc.

The Vaqueros beat Rice last nite and also previously NTSU--so they are CUSA level

Looking at their schedule it seems TCU’s best win was against a 5-2 St Bonaventure team. So it looks like TCU is not as battle tested as SMU.

That bodes well for us! I really think that was the difference in our game against Northern Iowa.

I REALLY want to win this game!! Need to bring Moody Magic to Ft Worth. I think we need to do some kind of organized "traveling MOB" thing (at least for close locations and tourney).
