Looking Forward to the Tulane Game

Probably not the most exciting game, playing in a old High School gym, but I haven't seen the MBB in person in about 2 years. Can't wait for the Mustang Cub pre-party then the game. I'm excited to see our players in a very cozy gym up close and almost personal.

I went and saw Smu at Devlin Fieldhouse two or three years ago. Arena is extremely small but very intimate and recently renovated so it’s super nice. Tulane is pretty good this year...feels like a trap game

If you see Debbie and Carlo - Say Hello
Fun place to watch a game and very close to team.
I'll be watching on TV.

I was there 2-3 years ago and as the game was ending and it was well in hand for the Ponies, the Tulane faithful started chanting, "Probation...Probation...Probation". I in turn responded with a "Point Shaving....Point Shaving....Point Shaving" ditty....they didn't like that. ;) PonyUP!

Game day today!

I'm just hoping that my power stays on this evening so I can watch on TV.

Last year our flight from JFK to NOLA was cancelled by an eastern ice storm so I ended up eating my tickets to this game.

But the two previous years I enjoyed the LB/Sir Nic/Markus versions tearing it up in Devlin Fieldhouse from just behind the visitor's bench. It is truly one of the best ways to see your team up close and personal. You are practically in the huddle. For the truly devoted....It's really not to be missed.

Go get 'em tonight Ponies!

Across the isle from me this one old dude had been blabbering the whole game about the probation.
As I got up to leave I asked him if he needed a hug. Good times.

Let's hope Tulane's secret weapon has not given away all of our secrets...

They are a vastly improved team this year.

I went two years ago year with my son. Great gym. They were passing out "Beat SMU" towels to everyone who attended. It was a sign that SMU had made it! I still have one in my office. This will be a tough game, but we need to show we're a solid road team as we march towards the NCAA tournament.

That was a fun time....remember leaping across the aisle to high five Jordan Tolbert's parents NUMEROUS times.

Hope we can improve on our 6-11 all-time record in games played at Tulane. I just want to know our guys can play well on the road. We've done well in recent years but I think this year's AAC is going to be a lot tougher and more balanced than what we've faced the past few years
