Well, we have been doubled up again, its 32-16 with 7 minutes left. I am making nothing but negative comments and I feel like Pony Snob so I’ll stop.

Pearson had a "come from behind" block on a breakaway layup, but then followed with a missed 3 pointer. 37-20 UTEP. Ouch. We really aren't very competitive anymore.

If there were positive things going on in our football and basketball programs, I would be singing their praises. Unfortunately, the performance of the football team for the majority of the last 14 years has been embarassing and evidently, the basketball team is slowly sinking to a pitiful level as well. Hopefully, after the poor seasons both programs have had, the SMU admnistration will wake up and allow us to compete in Div 1 athletics.

Mustangs playing totally intimidated. Missing layup after layup according to UTEP announcers. This team has lost any confidence they ever had. Getting blown out 46-27.

Devon Pearson is fighting hard, but has picked up 4 fouls in 1st half. He's got more heart than most of our guys, but has a lot to learn.
