Love that, and I love Rothsteins declaration that "SMU will be a tournament team" citing the same reasons.
That said, because it is us I would also dust off the "only team with three top 15 wins to not be a tournament team" possibility too.

Let’s not be on camera on selection day.

No. 2 Arizona
No. 14 USC
No. 7 Wichita State
It's quite the resume item.

If Cincy keeps winning - we will have an opportunity for a fourth Top 15 win soon. And a third Top 10 win...

Avoid any more bad losses and take down Cincy at home....we owe them one now anyway after we got shellacked at their place.

It doesn’t really matter where a team is ranked when you beat them. What matters is where they are today/in the end. USC is a bubble team at best now so let’s not act like a win at home against them is a big accomplishment. Boise is probably a better win right now. The other two are good wins though.

Question:
Assuming we win today, does it matter to the committee whether we win by 1 or win by 20?

No. The committee is so metrics based they don't comb over the scores of all your wins. Just win.

Glad I wasn't on camera when I asked my now-wife in the hallway at Hyer Hall if she wanted to go out with me. My face was very much like Larry Brown's when she answered.
