SMU spokesperson confirms that Jarrey Foster is out for the season with a partially torn ACL that will require surgery
Also says that Everett Ray is out for the season with a broken foot suffered in warmups before Tulane game Saturday
We are now down to: Shake, Whitt, Emelogu, McMurray, Chagois, Agau, Landrum, Douglas plus the walkons.

Wow that is unlucky to have 2in a row like that. That said I feel like we have been lucky overall health wise the last 6 years.

Time for McMurray and Akoy to step up now. Also, need solid contributions from Douglas and Landrum here and there.
Sucks for Jarrey. (and Ray).

I had a teammate break a bone in his foot just stepping of a curb to cross a street. Out for a year.

It's not that difficult to do. I have a broken bone in my foot from taking too long of a run. Stress fracture. There was no single event I can point to that caused it.
I hope this time off works in Ray's favor. I think he's got a lot more to offer this team than he was given a chance to prove this year. It's as if Akoy was given precedence over Ray for reasons having nothing to do with floor contribution.
