Utep blowing us out in the first half. Turnovers galore, blown layups, and giving up easy layups left and right.

HF, give me some therapy. This just doesn’t make sense. Tell me something good is going to come out of this?? I have always had hope for our bball program and football as well, but are we all kidding ourselves? All 50 of us that care anymore.

It's gotten to the point that I don't listen to road games anymore.
Haven't given up the home games yet, but that could be next. Honestly, I don't think there is anything left of this year but the WAC tournament. Probably (hopefully not) a quick exit, and then Dement's departure.
Who knows what is next then?

lots of new names on posts the last week or so - people coming out of the woodwork when they think "i wonder how SMU is doing" and look at the standings.
There are only the Diehards here and the 500-1500 who show up to every home game.

I'm here and have been for a long time. I don't post unless I have something to say. Now I do. This has gone far enough. We need a new coach and a new AD. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I wouldn't care if Dement left before the WAC. This is disgraceful. I know these players. They don't want this. They just won't play for him anymore. Period. That may not be right, but that is what is happening. This just makes me sick.

I would like to be able to say that after tonight, the main reason we are 8-10 is that we've only played 7 home games...but we are 3-4 at Moody this year. It certainly appears Dement has lost this team. Guess we hard core fans will just ride this thing out and hope we don't have any more blowouts like that Rice debacle.
Consider this: UTEP was only a 9-1/2 pt favorite tonight. There's money to be made if anyone has been betting against the Ponies. We may not be favored again this year. Maybe at home against Boise, if we don't get blown out there on Sat nite.

80-56 5:30 left
tuning out now - joke, joke.
Offense has "zero rythym" they said on the broadcast...."SMU playing with No fire, no passion"
Gee that looks familiar

88-62. Brutal. Lewin said it best, tonight was like dousing lemon juice on a paper cut.
