Posted: Thu Jan 29, 2004 10:22 pmFor some strange reason, I feel relieved in way. At some point the University is going to have to make changes. When things hit rock bottom the process usually gets accelerated. New conference is coming, new coach, renovated facility and a new study program or two are whats needed. A new coach needs get things going. At worst we hire Jimmy Tubbs and he recruits his [deleted] off in Dallas with the high school community behind him. If you think about it, SMU has never done the obvious.
