Glad it's finally official so all of these PGs that we're after don't have to worry/wonder if he was really leaving or not. Any chance we would take TWO of these guys if more than one wanted to commit? Might make sense if one had to sit this year like the kid from Colorado State.

Gotta admit I am going to miss watching him play defense though.

Landrum always played with great effort. Hope he finds a place he can stick and enjoy the rest of his college career.

If he wants to stay in the area and play D-I ball, I would guess SunBelt or Southland are likely landing spots but he might be able to drop down to NAIA or D-II and be a star. All depends on what he wants his college career to be...and what kind of education he hopes to gain. Hope it works out for him.

Why did he leave? Did staff tell him he would likely not play much next year? If it's me they would have to really run me off before I left. Wait a year more and see how I develop. If we miss on these other guards gonna have no depth on the bench.

Good competitive kid who's better served a level down. You gotta move those kids out, especially if they aren't big workers. Wish him luck, he went hard. Good staff move, same what looks to be Akoy's plight.

Definitely wish Landrum good luck in the next chapter of his college basketball career. Thank you for being a class kid.
Unfortunately the reality is Landrum is not a D1 Player. I was rooting for Landrum, but he never seemed to put it all together at SMU. Never took the ball to the basket. Never showed that he could run an offense as a PG. Never showed any ability to consistently get other players involved with assists. Took almost the entire year to learn how to shoot a 3-point shot. He seemed to really just sit outside beyond the 3-point line and pass the ball around. Not much value in that. Great effort on the defensive end. High energy kid. Truth be told we need talent not effort with our scholarship players. We need much more from our scholarship players.

What are your thoughts on Memphis Doug? He’s got the length but appears that playing at Christian Brothers didn’t exactly prepare him for D-1.
