we're all just livin in it. Money, ice cold, clutch, smooth, gutsy, you pick it. The win is nowhere near enough to turn around the season, but there is nothing better than seeing a guy step up like that with the weight of this teams recent trouble on his back. Congrats to Pat.

That's true, but with the exception of the UTEP massacre, the recent losses have been fairly close. A missed shot here, a turnover there, and we're talking about an SMU team that split its recent games, not a team on a 4-game skid (before last night). I think this team has been closer to righting the ship than many of us gave them credit for.
And how smooth was Simpson draining those free throws? With 0:0 on the clock and no players on the sides of the lane, Simpson must have felt like he was trying to throw a boulder through a keyhole. Way to go, Pat!
