Absolutely appropriate for neither TCU nor Texas to be in the tourney, but Ohio State doesn't belong and OU was a gift, too. Would rather have seen UNCG or Furman, Lipscomb or even Davidson. Same old story that the "little guys" just don't get many opportunities to play P5 schools...especially on the little guys home courts.

NIT will be interesting to see how teams like Lipscomb, UNCG, Furman, Davidson, Hofstra, etc...fare against P5 teams that feel they were snubbed. NIT actually gives the "little guys" a better opportunity because in the NCAA, they always get low seeds and have to play P5 programs that are much tougher than TCU and Texas.

Memphis and Wichita State both invited to NIT. Might do well in that tourney

I thought the AAC had decided it's members would not participate in either the CBI or CIT. Power 6, baby!

Don't remember seeing that, but yeah it really is kind of embarrassing for South Florida and The American.

Didn't realize that NcState had the worse non conference schedule in the ncaa.

They did play Wisconsin and Auburn but Penn State was a disappointment this season and the other mid-majors they played were bottom feeders for the most part

West Virginia and Depaul are the only 2 power 5's playing in the CBI.
Not sure why Huggy agreed to play in the CBI.
