I loved how athletic Whitt was, and the way he could create space and knock down those mid range jumpers, but his non existent three point shot and his horrendous free throw shooting was such a liability.

Jolly looked solid, and was actually interviewed in the post game on the radio, sounded very energized and enthusiastic about the team. Had that positive vibe that is needed and I can see him becoming a leader.

James Wiseman, Memphis' # 1 recruit and probably a one and done type, had 28 points on 11-14 shooting to go with 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in their 33 point win vs SC State. Good to have Memphis back after so many lean years for what has been a proud hoops program.
