Castro garners honors

DALLAS (SMU) - SMU junior center Eric Castro has been named to the 2004 Academic All-District VI Team, the organization announced today.
Castro, a junior from Oklahoma City, boasts a 3.86 GPA in Accounting while averaging 9.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals. Castro has started all 23 games and shoots a team-best 49.4% from the floor.
This marks the second-straight year Castro has been so honored.
