La Tech game

O.K. guys, it's do or die time. If this team is going to make a run and compete for the WAC Tourney title, it's time to win 4 of our last 5 games. This pretty much becomes a must game in my mind.
Off to a good start at 16-7 with Rack contributing early. Not too much crowd noise. La Tech has about the same home court environment as we do. Not at all intimidating.

It's a good thing the players don't have your attitude, Pony Snob. These guys are capable of beating any team in this conference. Winning 3 games in 3 days or even worse, having to win 4 games...will be very challenging...but not impossible. They are definitely playing better ball right now after that mid-season funk.
Beating La Tech after they laid a double figure whipping on us at Moody would be big for these guys' confidence. Good 1st half. Need to stay aggressive in the 2nd half.

What happened at the end their Charleston?
Up 30-15 then they come back and now we're up only by 9? Im listenin to the girls game so what happened? Howd we let them get 13 points like that?

Bhop was red hot and running the offense in the 1st half. He went out for a rest up 15 pts and La Tech went to a pressure defense that rattled our guys. There's no question we need Bhop on the floor to be successful.
La Tech has it down to 6 pts at 50-44 with 9 minutes left

looks like this one is slipping away. La tech takes a 4 pt lead with 3 minutes left. Seems like their shooting has picked up...or could it be our defense has gotten soft. Could be that conditioning issue rearing it's ugly head again. Pretty disappointing that we consistently cannot hold leads.
This is embarrassing!

good job getting this one to OT after blowing the big lead. We're 1-1 in OT games this year, but the question is whether we have enough gas left to pull this one out.
