WBB lands another transfer
Per her social media accounts, former Rice guard Jasmine Smith is transferring to SMU. The 5-7 guard from Cypress (Kincaid), Texas was the Owls' third-leading scorer last season, averaging 9.8 points per game and scoring a season-high 18 points three times, against Texas A&M, Old Dominion and North Texas. She led the team with 110 assists and 41 steals last season, and ranked third with 132 rebounds. For the season, she shot .462, including .375 on three-point shots, and converted .710 of her free throws.
