Posted: Tue Dec 28, 2021 11:31 pmIt's great to have another player in the NBA no matter if it is due to COVID-19. Hopefully he is the player that performs way beyond expectations and sticks around through the end of the season and beyond. How many schools can say they have 4 players in the NBA?

Hunt scored 21 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 128-90 loss to Rio Grande.
Once again the SMU product finished with more than 20 points, as the Legends loss to the Vipers. Hunt is averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game to begin the year. The forward seems to be an established part of Texas' rotation thus far.

The Pelicans didn't re-sign Hunt after his 10-day contract expired Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Hunt is expected to rejoin the G League's Texas Legends now that his time with the Pelicans is over. The 6-foot-8 forward didn't appear in any games during his 10-day deal and is still awaiting his NBA debut.

Oh well, at least he got some good spending money.
You have to imagine he will have more chances as the Omicron rages on.
