It's great to have another player in the NBA no matter if it is due to COVID-19. Hopefully he is the player that performs way beyond expectations and sticks around through the end of the season and beyond. How many schools can say they have 4 players in the NBA?

Feron Hunt was making some noise in the G League

Rotowire DEC 24, 2021
Hunt scored 21 points (8-10 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 128-90 loss to Rio Grande.

Once again the SMU product finished with more than 20 points, as the Legends loss to the Vipers. Hunt is averaging 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game to begin the year. The forward seems to be an established part of Texas' rotation thus far.

Oh well...

Feron Hunt: Deal with Pels expires
Rotowire 23 HRS AGO
The Pelicans didn't re-sign Hunt after his 10-day contract expired Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Hunt is expected to rejoin the G League's Texas Legends now that his time with the Pelicans is over. The 6-foot-8 forward didn't appear in any games during his 10-day deal and is still awaiting his NBA debut.

I checked the box score for every Pelicans game during his tenure and never saw him show up. I guess he never even got in a game.

Oh well, at least he got some good spending money.

You have to imagine he will have more chances as the Omicron rages on.

Feron needs playing time in the G League rather than sitting on a bench and not playing, but I'm sure the money helps. I think a rookie 10 day deal pays north of $60k, so goof for Feron

So you are calling your own number for the G League ? Funny / ironic typo.

Freudian slip?
