I knew when I saw that 1st Rutgers vs Notre Dame play in game that we were toast. Will be pulling for Memphis and Houston to prove the American was better than what the committee thinks

Saw my Virginia buddy while out for a jog today. maybe SMU will finally get to play Virginia as a make up for the cancelled Fenway Bowl. As the #3 team of the 1st 4 out, hope our guys get a # 1 seed and get to play more games in Moody on their way to MSG

First 4 out are always the #1 seeds in the NIT.

I have fond memories of Nic Moore coming off the double screen and draining a shot from the corner to send our guys to NY back in the Larry Brown days. As disappointing as it was to lose in the Finals, I think that experience helped our guys go on to a couple of NCAA tournament appearances

The difference is that was our first year in a run of building the program. This year is the high point of the last 4 years and probably the next 2.

With regular season champions earning automatic invites, they could put SMU in a bracket with UNT La Tech and Texas State if they want to keep things regional. How about a game with Pittino/Tyson Jolly's Iona Gaels? A rematch with Oregon? Maybe the game we thought we would play vs Florida State? Hey, at least he season is not over. It's not like we have baseball to look forward to.

We better protect Moody! We need to keep our undefeated record at Moody this season. That would ensure a trip to New York. Not what we wanted, but that would at least extend the season and give us some good press and a consolation.

Agree. I'd like to see 3 more wins in Moody and a trip to MSG for these guys. Hope they get some fan support as I doubt any of the visitors will bring many fans
