The mighty Peacocks take down the Blue-Bloods of Kentucky .... WOW, I love it and March Madness.

St Peters coach would be a great replacement for Jank. You could see how well-drilled, disciplined and ready for the moment those Peacocks were. Very impressive. Watch the last five minutes and the overtime.

#1 Baylor falls to #8 North Carolina in OT. Didn't see that one coming.

That's the way I saw it. They passed the ball around the perimeter and very methodical. Waited for a smart shot. They never lost their focus, never panic. No 1 on 3 break and miss a 3 pointer. (drives me crazy when SMU does that)

Ya think selection committee is having some doubts about MWC over AAC?

Don't think so. That's what Texas thought of Shaka Smart when he was at Virginia Commonwealth. Apples and oranges.

Big 10 with 9 teams in manages to go 9-7 opening weekend, which is better than they did last year. They can thank Michigan who was lucky to even get invited and has over performed so far. ACC with only 5 teams in goes 8-2 and has performed well. Big XII has done well and with 6 teams in has gone 9-3. AAC has done well at 3-1 considering only 2 invited but once again it's a matter of how far can Houston go. I sure wish our guys could have replaced either Indiana or Wyoming in that 12 seed play-in game to see how they would have done. SMU showed all year we match up poorly against teams with talented bigs so who knows what might have happened. I suspect it would have come down to who they might have matched us up with.

And the ACC in what most were calling a "down year" featuring a bunch of mediocre teams has 3 of the Elite 8. At this point I just want Houston to advance to the Final Four so I can appreciate even more our having beaten them in Moody this year.

And the Big Ten is shut out of the Elite Eight. Sigh.

Rightfully so! They stole our bid. What a joke of a conference.
