SMU now inside the top 50 at 48th! If only we had closed out Dayton and ASU we would have a 1-2 quad 1 record and no quad 2/3/4 losses.

The Wisconsin loss still makes me sick as well. We were controlling that games until the final few minutes.

That was a game we could have won but the ASU meltdown was the worst "blown lead" so far this year

If we learned our lessons from the losses against Wisconsin, Dayton, and Arizona State then we may be able to make it through conference play with 3 or less losses and have a real shot at dancing this year. BEAT MEMPHIS SUNDAY !!! I BELIEVE !!!

ECU showed against FAU that they will be no pushover so let's see how our guys do in these next 2 road games @ Memphis and @ ECU. Thinking this team can get through AAC play with only 3 losses is the most optimistic suggestion I've seen. Until they show me more, I'm not confident this team can go better than .500 in conference play. With 2 games against Memphis, road games only @ WSU, USF & FAU and home/home series with Tulane, UAB & UNT (yes, the greenies are pretty good) getting through AAC play with more than 10 wins will be a significant accomplishment and would probably get this team into post season play

Pretty amazing to see that we are now 43rd in NET. We did drop to 51st in Kenpom and are 66th in ESPN's BPI. Those are solid numbers that put us on track for an NIT bid. If we somehow manage to elevate a little more we put ourselves in the bubble conversation for the NCAA tournament. We'll probably need to beat FAU or win at Memphis to elevate our metrics and get the all important signature win to make it in though.

But it helps that those 2 keep winning. Same with FSU, Wisconsin and all of our opponents.
