The American is completely topsy-turvy right now, and I don’t know what the heck has happened to Memphis. These next two home games against Tulane and UAB are the defining games of our season imo. We lost a game to a good team that we could have won in Denton, and we lost a game to a bad team in Wichita that we couldn’t afford to lose. Does this team have what it takes, or have we all been fooled by their gaudy NET ranking and close losses to some good teams. Close doesn’t cut it anymore, win or become what Memphis is. Lost

I agree this week is critical. With everyone beating everyone in this conference, we have to win our home games to have any chance

If someone said that we would be tied or a game ahead of Memphis heading into February we would have taken it in a minute. Memphis is a real strange situation.

Yeah I don’t know what happened to Memphis, 4 straight losses. That’s why these next two home games are so crucial. Schedule isn’t getting any easier.

Memphis stepped on the rake in hiring their hero, their legend…but can he coach? Has he coached? No and not really….but, he’s great recruiter - is he really? Poor little Memphis State.
