Re: CalipariThe buyout is over 20M. He isn't going anywhere.
Re: Calipari
$33 million
Re: Calipari$33M this year, drops to $27M after next season ... and he's already talking about changing things up, maybe adding an upperclassman or two in order to have a couple of guys who are a little more battle-tested to go along with their annual crop of super-freshmen.
JasonB is right. He's going nowhere.
Re: CalipariAnyone else seen this? This would never happen, right?

Re: Calipari
Sounds like USC fans.
Re: CalipariWhile there might be several people feeling sympathy for Lanier, I don't think there are many (if any) SMU fans upset about our coaching change. I do wonder what guarantees Lanier had on what was reportedly a year deal here and whether SMU's BMDs will be paying his salary at Rice the next couple of years?
Re: Calipari
He sure is. Got to wonder what SMU did to him to p*ss him off as I have never seen his name featured in SMU Magazine ever - thus he is likely not a big-time SMU donor. He sent his son to Harvard and Stanford - but perhaps should have not . . . https://nypost.com/2023/01/24/john-r-tyson-pleads-guilty-after-waking-up-in-strangers-bed/ "Moral Victories Make Me Sick" - TR

Re: CalipariBaylor fans panicking that Drew may be off to UK. Sweet karma if SMU firing Lanier led to Baylor losing its admittedly HOF level coach.
