Posted: Sun Jun 09, 2024 10:12 pmSMU announced Saturday that Kurtis Schultz has been named Sports Performance Coach for SMU men's basketball. He spent the previous 11 seasons with new SMU head coach Andy Enfield at USC — during his time there, the Trojans earned six invitations to the NCAA tournament, including a run to the 2021 Elite Eight. Before that, he worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Bengals. He spent his early career as a strength coach for his alma mater: the University of Maryland.
