2024-25 SMU Women’s Basketball Schedule Announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (SMU) - SMU's 2024-25 women's basketball slate was finalized on Tuesday when the Atlantic Athletic Conference announced its 18-game league schedule. The Mustangs open league play on the road against Florida State on Dec. 8 and finish the season inside Moody Coliseum, hosting NC State on March 2.

The Mustangs' inaugural ACC schedule will see Cal, Clemson, Duke, Louisville, NC State, North Carolina, Pitt, Stanford and Virginia all visit Moody Coliseum. Pitt is the only team the Mustangs will face at home and on the road.

SMU' road-only opponents are Boston College, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, N.C. State, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech. The 2025 Ally ACC Women's Basketball Tournament is scheduled for March 5-9 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C.

Tip times and television designations will be announced at a later date.

The non-conference schedule features four schools that made the NCAA or WNIT tournament and is highlighted with a home matchup with Texas Tech, an SEC / ACC challenge road game versus Missouri and facing ASU and Minnesota in the Briann January Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

In the fourth season under head coach Toyelle Wilson, the Mustangs will play seven of their 11 non-conference games inside Moody Coliseum, including hosting Texas Tech on Dec. 11. SMU begins the 2024-25 season at home, hosting NC A&T on Nov. 4.
